“Good rooms for price, terrible service.”

Located directly behind the America Center in St. Louis, it's a great location if you're attending or working an event there. Rooms are very reasonably priced for the area and clean.I've stayed in this hotel 3 years in a row for it's location and price, but service and employee response has been reliably terrible. Front desk is almost never available, lobby staff never hesitates to kick guests out of the sitting areas if they linger too long. Room service is slow, if available at all. The restaurant and bar staff if reliably slow, rude, with mediocre food at best, and the bar closes early (between 9 and 11pm) at any opportunity, even on weekends. Room cleaning is also minimal, so don't expect more than a quick bed toss and a new bar of soap.Overall, it's still worth the frustration if you're working a show at the convention hall and don't want to spend twice as much at the Renaissance on the other side. But, if you're there for reasons other than business, you'll probably be unhappy and should try another hotel in the area.
