“Could have been better”

There was a lot going on that weekend in St. Louis which is one of the reasons we were there. My step-sons played in the St. Louis Classic and there was a baseball game there as well. When we arrived at the hotel the check in line was super long that we left and went to the game. When we got back and checked in room we had no towels, ice machine on our floor was broke, the swimming pool was like ice water, and our TV picture was fuzzy (maintenance man came looked at it said he would be back and we never saw him again. We also did not receive the rate we were quoted. With this being a downtown hotel I would have never expected this. I can not see this happening in any of our downtown hotels in Indianapolis, especially when they clearly know events are coming. They should have been prepared.
