“Not a happy camper”

Didn't get room we reserved(did get 25%discount free water park passes was ok at that point.Plunger in vanity sink would not open so we could not use. 4 people in room and needed it.Shower had dirt in it upon arrival plus shower head did not work good.A/c did not work .very muggy and steamy in rooms.Return to room after breakfast could not get pool side door open had to call house keeping. While trying guest next to us said they had the same problem . My husband went to get ice there was throw up in the hall. Lots of it! He came back and called front desk. An hour later we left to go eat DINNER with our two kids and it was still there, chunks of food scattered everywhere. As walking down the steps at exit number 4 at the bottom of the steps was another big pile of throw up . Trying to maneuver or children around both piles I was sickened by the trash in your parking lot! Just in that little area there was a baby bottle, several empty cans, candy bar wrappers, to go box with food in it sitting in the ground by the #4 door you could see in the lid it was nasty ! By this time we had all lost our appetite for dinner. These are just a few things we encountered at our FIRST stay and the ST. joesph Ramada Inn. The list keeps going&no towels available at water park , bad reception on TV, dirty hallways (clearly not vacuumed on a regular basis) your free breakfast had lots to offer the only problem was my kids wanted a waffle along with my husband and the line was 8 long! There must have been at least 50 guests eating breakfast and only one waffle maker ? Do the math&8 inline 2minutes to cook 1 minute to pour in and take out that's 24 minutes of wait time then another 9 minutes to cook our own a total of 33 minutes just for waffles. So no waffles for us even though thats what our daughter really wanted. I know it would be to the hotels advantage to acquire another waffle maker(a simple thing and makes a difference to your guests). now, just to let you know my husband and I are also business owners and know how important first impressions are that's why I'm writing this to you. We were very excited to bring our children for this little trip. I can tell you I will not recommend your hotel to anyone.
