I apologize for the issue with Ants you experienced but I want you assure you that we do have a pest control company that comes twice a month, and our maintenance staff also treats in between our scheduled appointments. I want you to know we took your comments and made sure that we started proactive steps to stop this from being a bigger issue. Thanks again for your comments. Dear guest, I first want to apologize for your unpleasant visit with us here at the Ramada of St. Joseph. I appreciate your feed back and after further research I have discovered the room number in question and have began to correct the issues so that a future guest in that room will not be affected by the same situations. I really would like for you to give us another chance but I understand that you feel let down by us here at the Ramada of St. Joseph but please give other Ramada's a try. « hide

Dear Guest, thank you for taking a moment to post a review. We have begun the remodeling process in our rooms, but it seems you didn't get to enjoy one of these rooms during your last visit. This is certainly an older property and we show our age at times, however we have a team of hard-working housekeepers who try to keep things as clean as possible at all times. The water park is shut down during the week days until late afternoon and from 11am- 12 pm daily in our efforts to conserve energy; this includes the features and the lights in the entire area. I apologize for any inconvenience. « hide

Dear Guest, thank you for taking a moment to post your review. This property is certainly an older one, which may explain why we don't have an elevator. Although with only two floors we are usually able to honor special requests regarding first or second floor accommodations. Your comments are appreciated and we will certainly inspect your room and have any stains and smells addressed immediately. « hide

Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to post a review. We agree the bathrooms need some renovations and we are certainly looking forward to doing it as soon as possible. I can't explain why someone would be vacuuming that early in the morning unless there was a spill of some sort; our housekeeping staff doesn't clock in and get started until after 9am each day. I apologize if we woke you up too early during your visit. « hide

Dear Guest, thank you for your comments regarding our front desk clerk. He is one of the newer guys and was a great find! The jets in the hot tub do work but they operate at more of a gentle rolling motion rather than harsh jets. The bodies of the water park are backwashed on a regular basis and all are monitored daily to insure proper chlorine and Ph levels. We want our guests to have a great time in the water park with every visit and know it's a clean and safe environment. I'm thrilled to know you will be back in the future and hope you have a wonderful time! « hide

Dear Guest, thank you for taking a moment to post a review. We did have a heater go out in one of our heaters one week causing some much cooler than usual water. The heater was fixed as quickly as possible and the water is back to the normal 82 degrees! It never fails that this kind of thing happens just before the weekend! The hallways and lobby are cleaned at least twice each day, although on sold out weekends it can certainly appear otherwise at times. We're sorry you were disappointed with any aspect of your visit and hope you will bring the family back and give us another opportunity to impress you in the future. « hide
