“Definitely do not recommend.”

My boyfriend and I came down to see a Braves game. When we go to the hotel to check in, the girl stated she had unplugged the phone which "fixed" it. She seemed younger, which is fine, but she was pretty unprofessional. Nice, but unprofessional. We got our keycards and room number and headed up. The elevators are a little creepy and in a weird location, but we found our room. The sixth floor is very dimly lit. When we got to our room I was surprised by how big it was. It looked nice upon first glance, and matched the photos, but you don't notice the details in the photos. They have a mixture of new and old furniture and lamps and the bathroom countertop was strange. It had what looked like granite put on top of the old fixture that was held up by a painted 2x4 that was leaning. There were stains on the towels and the little shelf that was supposed to be on the wall in the bathroom had been ripped out and not patched. There was also a gap behind the countertop of at least 3 inches. Strange. The stay in our room was fine, we mainly just needed a place to sleep and it met that need. When we got back to our room that evening we tried my key and it refused that one, so only one of the cards worked. Since we would be checking out in the morning we did not report this. Check out time at this hotel is 11:00am. Reasonable. We made our way down prior to 11 and waited in line to check out. The lady at the counter informed me they were having a new printer installed and just took my keycards. I asked her if they could do any form of receipt and she had me write down my email address and she would send it to me. She did not. I also looked at my bank account and have been charged for the room twice. I doublechecked and it is not just a hold on my account. I have called Ramada customer service and they have been awesome so far, and even tried to contact the hotel too with no luck. I will hopefully hear back within a week about whether or not I will receive my money back.If you go there because of the pool, I would recommend not swimming in it. It is an indoor/outdoor pool, but the water was super green and cloudy so they are not treating the water correctly. The location is also strange, it is right off the interstate, but in an industrial location. There are 2 gas stations nearby, a taco bell and a waffle house from what I remember but the area seemed a little sketchy. The rooms are overpriced for what they offer and I would NOT stay here again.
