“Almost the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.”

  , Clearwater
The staff was alright. The lobby was presentable. The room itself was so basic and in need of repair. The cover on the lift switch was broken, so my son was afraid to touch it. The "sliding" door was not easy for any of us to slide open and shut. It was missing handles. The TV had poor reception and was ancient. The was no note pad and pen to jot things done on. We know this because we borrowed a scrabble game to pass the time as the pool is only for smaller children and cold. The hot tub was extremely hot. The coffee maker leaked. When I booked the room I was under the impression it was a kitchenette. There was a microwave that when plugged into the wall would shut off suddenly as the outlet wasn't stable. There was no blow dryer or outlet in the bathroom. Where the only other mirror was the plug in was not close enough to use a curling iron easily. The heater would blow cold half of the time. The bed was so old and soft it had a big ditch down the middle. Needless to say, if the town wasn't booked up with sledders, I would have left.
