“Would not reccomend”

This property is not up to what I would consider the "standard" of other Ramada properties I have stayed at with the same price as the other Ramadas I have stayed at. There was not one "major" issue, but rather a collection of issues that results in a less than desirable stay. The staff was helpful and met every request and accommodated to the best of their ability. The issue was the property and it's upkeep. The main reason we selected this hotel was it's indoor water features. Once in the pool a couple of things were noted. 1) The water in the splash pool was a very cool 70°F (as indicated by the thermometer in the floor). Given that little kids are the one that play in this area, I was hoping for something far warmer. The larger pool was only a little warmer - 85°F. The water in both the splash pool and the deeper pool smelled of a combination of dirty socks and chlorine. The water slide was nice, but there was a lot of rust evident on the framework, the ground wire between the water pipe for the waterslide and the ground was broken (and obviously not repaired.... a potential safety issue I would expect) and either on the floor of the pool area or inside the hot tub, there was a chunk of flooring missing. There was grime / dirt buildup on the tile above the pool surface in the main pool as well. We enjoyed the pool, make no mistake, but the combination of these issues wasn't what I was expecting from a Ramada at the price we paid.Once we settled into our rooms we found them nice enough... but it was quite evident they were old rooms that had been updated a time or two. One of the two rooms I had reserved did not have a hotel phone... which normally wouldn't have been an issue except for the party being held in the room next door... the only way to address the problem was talk to the people next door or walk to the front desk. Thankfully the people next door were polite enough and quieted down. The other bathroom had rust on the fire sprinkler head and a somewhat loud bathroom fan that could be heard quite clearly in the sleeping / living space of the room. The flat panel TV was a nice touch, but a bit small and was not programmed for the channels available. As such, when changing channels, you would go from a TV program to static that was very loud. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate compared to other continental breakfasts offered.
