“Obviously declining property”

  , Mn
first let me say the staff was all pleasant and friendly and the wifi is free. That is about the extent of the perks. "Business center" is in middle of lobby with traffic all around. The side door that I was directed to park by since it was closer to my room locked at 8PM. This wouldn't be a problem if the door had a card swipe but it did not. So when I went out to my car I was locked out and had the choice of driving around to an open door, or walking around the hotel to find an entrance that was open.Ordered room service twice, first time milk was served warm, and burger which i ordered medium was charred and dry. Second time was breakfast which was good. Long hallways, slow elevators, one elevator was out of order for a day. Property in obvious need of upkeep, some of the doors had their room number plaques fall off, so the solution was to write the number on the door handle with a sharpie marker. The bed linens consisted of a sheet, thin blanket, and another sheet on top. No spread, comforter, or duvet. Searched room for extra blanket since there was a sofa sleeper in room but none to be found. Bed should have been replaced a few years ago, both sides had "the dip" and was extremely uncomfortable! Coffee in lobby tasted burnt and the availability of it was random. I stay in hotels several times per week for work and this was by far one of the worst kept properties. The property allows dogs and i was lucky enough to have one just down the hall from me that liked to bark. Needless to say you could hear everything that happened in the hall, all voices, foot traffic, kids running, etc.
