“Womens State Bowling Tournament”

The actual suite we stayed in was clean, however I booked a suite for 6 adults and received a room for 4. I made my reservation via the phone number on line as I cannot book thru my computer at work. I was quoted a 139 per night on the phone and when I registerd was charged 179 per night. So I had a room that cost 179 for 6 adults but was put in a room for 4 adults. When calling the front desk for additional beds, I was told could only find 1 and we would have to make due. So one person had to sleep on a love seat couch. Told just nothing else available for them to bring in for someone to sleep on. And after talking with 2 other group of bowlers I was told they booked a room for 4 adults and got a room for 6 for the price of 109. After talking to front desk about the fact that I was angry about the charge for a room I did not receive they said they would give me the room for the 139 I was quoted on the phone. Not happy but what could I do. Then had to ask for the bedding more than once and also had to ask for additional toweling as there were only 3 towels in the bath and had to ask again for 3 more towels the next day after they cleaned the room. Blew a breaker in the bathroom Sat morning while trying to get ready. Had to wait for maintenance to reset and then the TV in the sitting room was not working. Come to find out if was unplugged and it took maintenance over an hour to work on the TV, which hindered 6 of us from getting ready to bowl on time and we all had to change in the bath due to a man in the room. Accomodations of having a bar restaurant was great but the wait staff was not all that greaat. Had to get our own drinks from the bar as the servers were concentrating on large groups instead of the 4 to 6 of us. When checking out asked again for an additional discount I was told I would have to call the manager and was given a card. I did finally call the Sales Manager on Thursday, Feb 28th after I cooled down a bit and asked for an additional discount again. She ended up talking with the General Manager and finally gave me the same room rate the other bowlers were given for 190/night. I should not have had to do all this dancing around to get this taken care of. Not sure we will use a Ramada Inn to stay in again. cleanliness is important and it was clean but CUSTOMER SERVICE is important as well.
