“Cold in Winter”

  , East Lansing, United States
Stayed here in March 2014 for a professional conference. The meeting room was find, but the temperatures were quite cool. The hotel has a central enclosed courtyard with pool that looked fine, but I did not use it. The hotel rooms are budget rooms with limited amenities. For example, if you want to work at the table in the room, there is no desk chair available -- just a stuffed sitting chair from the corner of hte room. My main complaint: the room was very, very cold when I arrived, and it took all night to heat up. I even left the hallway door wide open for the first hour to speed up the warming process. Its one thing to conserve heat when rooms are unused, but thie was extreme and uncomfortably cold.
