“I did not have a good experience. Upon arrival, there was...”

I did not have a good experience. Upon arrival, there was one employee at the check in desk working, but actually a manager was behind the counter counting money. The employee was a trainee and moving very slowly and the line starting to increase. The manager saw witnessed this and never stepped in to assist. In fact, she left from behind the counter and never returned. After waiting about 15-20 mins (unacceptable) to be waited on (I was next in line), the employee could not find my reservation. I gave him my confirmation number and then he found the reservation. The reason he had trouble finding it was because my name was spelled wrong in their system and he was searching by name. The reservationist over the phone had trouble spelling my last name and we went over it about 5 times, resulting in the name still be spelled wrong. After he found the reservation, he said "is the 5th floor ok"? I said no as I like to be on lower floors. He said that all he had available was a room on the 3rd floor but the guest had not checked out yet. Reluctantly, I took the 5th floor room. When I got to the room, the room rightr next door to mine was under construction and the door was wide open, with carpet rolls, tools, etc strewn all over the place. I did not feel secure being next to this room. I told the desk clerk about the situation and he found me a room on the 3rd floor. The key to my 3rd floor room worked one time and then became deactivated for no apparent reason, of which I had to walk all the way back to the desk to get it activated. There were several other things that went completely wrong with my stay her, almost a comedy of errors.
