“Ok, but not as good as usual.”

I stay here regularly for business, but this trip surprised me. I usually rave about how good of a value this hotel is, and stay here every time I go to reno, however this time I had a few concerns. Sadly I was too busy to have time to alert the front desk or be moved, but hope it doesn't happen again. - The room smelled musty, which isn't normal when I stay there. The room was 1108, and it was quite run down. - The room was directly in front of the elevator. I always tell the front desk I am on business and I hoped for a more quiet area of the hotel. - The toilet backed up after flushing it once (nothing but a little toilet paper in it), as the water pressure was just awful in this room. -The shower sprayed everywhere when I turned it on, and although I just wanted to shower without washing my hair, my hair got drenched as a result. There was no shower cap in the room to aid this. - The carpet was all rolled up in areas, not secured properly to the floor, making movement of luggage difficult- The heater made a high pitched squeal all night, so much that I had to call the front desk to ask for an extra comforter to keep me warm as I could not sleep with the noise. -The comforter on the bed initially was old and faded. The other rooms I stay in usually have newer linens. If this had been my first stay at this Ramada, I would probably never come back, but I know the service, value and amenities generally suit my business travel needs, so I won't write it of yet because of one bad experience. I just hope this is rectified for next time.
