“The destruction of a quality, comfortable lodge”

  , Buffalo
I have vacationed at this Ramada in Burbank for many years now and i have always had a pleasent experience here. The staff is accomidating and efficient, the restaurant serves tasty and quickly and the courtyard is the best I have been in till now. The city of Burbank is taking away the overflow parking, some 15 - 20 spots. The decision of management is to cut down the palm trees and yucca plants, very beautiful foliage, in order nto park cars in the courtyard. The charm is gone only replaced by traffic noise from nearby route 5 and the amtrak trains, previously undetected due to the buffering effect of the lush garden. This is such a stupid decision. Why not just reduce the number of rented rooms or take two rooms and make connecting suites for family stays, you would be able to charge more for a suite or reduce staffing if the lesser room option were to be used. Either way I will not stay here and probably go to your competitors. I guess Ramada will do anything to make the almighty dollar.
