“Very Disappointing!”

  , Bowman
The pictures shown when I booked the room makes it look very nice, clean and comfy. This, however, was definitely not the case. The carpet was so dirty and damp. My socks and also bare feet told me just how dirty! I had to wash my feet before I got in bed at night. The motel & room looked very old and very dirty. In the room the baseboards and corners of the bathroom needed a good scrubbing. My back hurt so bad in the mornings after sleeping on the bed that it took me a good while to straighten up and walk without a lot of back pain. To top it all off we had a mouse in the room one night!! Do not stay at this motel and one more thing... definitely do not eat at Capt. Jim's Seafood Buffett across the street. We paid $21.00 each for over fried shrimp that was just crunchy dried up, fish that was partly raw and jelly looking & way way too much garlic used on most everything else. There was no real seafood flavor left. Really bad experience at both these places for the amount of money we spent and I am not usually a picky person. There are newer places on down the road for less money per night.
