“Tired and Moldy”

Stayed one night before an early morning flight out of BWI. The room was okay but there were signs of neglect. Wood pieces missing from the dresser, permanent (or poorly cleaned) marks on the walls. These signs of neglect extended to the halls - things just looked grubby. The major problem was a strong mold smell that started in at the elevators and extended through several floors. There were several dehumidifiers running but they weren't much help. Anyone with mold allergies or breathing difficulties may have real problems in this place. The restaurant on site had decent food but also shows signs of neglect. Our table was barely fastened to the wall - made eating soup an adventure. The waitstaff was fine until we wanted to leave, had to get up and find someone to get our bill. The MAJOR downside was that the television didn't work and the desk staff's explanation was MAJOR bull. "The satellite cuts out in the rain". It wasn't raining the next morning but the TV was still dead. Also the desk staff gave us bad advice in regards to scheduling the shuttle, not exactly their fault but not appreciated either.
