“Park & Fly- CA Trip”

I was extremely disappointed in my stay this time. I have stayed here many times, but this was the worst experience I've ever had at this property (Hanover). The first leg of my trip was ok. However when I returned I again stayed over due to the lateness of the hr my plane arrived. Had to wait over an hr to be picked up at airport. Not enough help at front desk for busy summer vac season. One van, one driver was not enough to accomodate guests arriving. ALL VENDING MACHINES IN LOBBY WERE EMPTY. Could not even get a bottle of water! Only 1 ice machine in whole hotel working. Tried every floor. One soda machine on 5th fl working, but took my money! I have never been so frustrated after arriving late in the evening, having flown for 8 hrs and found I could not even get a bottle of water! The front desk staff member was very proficient and pleasant, as well as the van driver. However, the place was understaffed. Breakfast the next morning was horrible at 7:00 a.m. No decaf coffee. No juice. Pastries were stale. This is the first time I had a horrible experience at this hotel. The problems encountered were not the fault of the 1 front desk person and the 1 van driver. I blame mgmt for not anticipating increased business on a Sat nite.
