“Not impressed”

The maid came and took our towels while we were at breakfast our first morning. She did not leave any replacements. We then went to take showers. Not good! She came back to clean our room around 2:00. We were getting ready to leave for a family wedding at 2:30. I told her this as best I could ... she did not seem to speak or understand English. I asked her to return at 2:30 to clean our room. She said she couldn't. It was too late, from what I could understand. NOT GOOD GUYS! Also, I asked her to bring us THREE clean towels for the next morning. She said she would. She brought us TWO. I asked for an additional towel. You would think I was asking for the moon! Really guys! What's up with the towel Nazi situation?! If you take my towels IN THE MORNING, then bring me new ones! We never got a third towel. That may seem trivial to you, but you asked so I'm telling you what I think.Also, people in the hotel, front desk, breakfast area, etc,. were not friendly at all. I'm originally from Texas. Lived there all my life until 10 years ago. Everyone is friendly in Texas, but not at your hotel. I assume you have the "trickle down" affect going on. Upper management is driving this? I usually stay at Holiday Inn Express. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option in Gatesville, Texas. You could learn a thing or two from that corporation.Sorry, but I'm not impressed with your servicce or your staff. You need additional training in both areas. I will not stay at Ramada again unless it's my only option.
