“Nice stay except for slamming doors”

  , Hudson
My wife and I stayed overnight with other family members after attending a local evening wedding. I knew when we went up to our room on the third floor that door noise was going to be an issue. All of the doors in the hallway slammed shut, even when you let them close on their own. The sound of multiple doors slamming at the same time was very disruptive. I was awakened at 3:30 a.m. by a door that slammed shut twice across the hallway from our room. If the door was being slammed deliberately then I would have had reason to complain, but it was probably someone just exiting their room in the middle of the night. Other than that we had a pleasant stay but there really is no excuse for a facility like this to have doors that close so hard. I'm not sure how old the hotel is but the fact that the pneumatic door closers are worn out probably is a sign that some upgrading is needed.
