“Go to the AmericInn”

Old, run down hotel, simple maintenance not kept up. The bedside lights did not work and the tub did not drain. By the end of your shower you were in 3 inches of standing water, gross. Also, no fan in the bathroom.They charged us more for a room that we did not want (poolside), only to be woken up at 8am by screaming kids in the pool. Then at 9am housekeeping was banging on the door...and again at 10 they were banging and screaming. I would have put the Do Not Disturb sign out, had I found it. I found it at the end of our stay underneath some paper cups. Then upon checking out, I wanted to use a coupon code which I had called twice and asked hotel staff how I should redeem it. They said, write it down and bring it in with you. When I tried to use it at checkout the assistant manager told me she knows nothing about coupon codes, it's all done through corporate and none of her staff could have instructed me to bring the coupon with me. Then she demanded to know exactly who I talked to. Well, I wasn't planning on having to defend myself or build a case so I didn't take their name. Bad management and bad customer service. And a terrible adjacent restaurant, Shay's, to boot.
