“Have to stay anyways”

  , Dover Plains
My husband is an OTR truck driver and we freqently meet and stay at Hotels near truck stops when he is close enough for me to reach him but to far for him to drive the truck home. The hotel was okay but - 3 things not so great. We checked in at 1 a.m. and I'm pretty sure the person who checked us in was either coming out of bed or from cleaning her house? Very professional ACTING and very very nice young lady, but dressed horribly. I'm guessing there was a roof problem and major flood damage and that made the inside of the hotel - hallways etc. a little dingy and unsavory. Lastly - no elevator, really, a hotel with no elevator ~ unheard of for me. Oh the continental breakfast was a little shabby too. The ROOM itself however was quite clean, quite spacious and very nice. The personality of the staff was also very nice.
