“Travel to New Orleans”

  , Conyers
This is an excellent location close to great restaurants in Metairie and near I-10 for trips into the city. If you are traveling via car, you save the excessive parking fees of downtown hotels. Acme Oyster House is a short walk and has some of the freshest and tastiest oysters ever! Don't miss Drago's charbroiled oysters that is a short drive from the hotel. Never underestimate Rouse's market - an upscale grocery that surpasses some of the restaurants in my city. Get a dinner from Rouse's and take it back to the hotel for "fine dining" at one of the tables around the pool or covered ones in the breezeway. Breakfast at the Ramada was very good and always had scrambled eggs in addition to the cereals, yogurt, fruit, etc. The biscuits were quite good and the buffet rotated sausages, bacon, and chunky gravy. (We were there for 5 days.) We lived in New Orleans until Katrina and were very pleased with everything about this property. It was clean, comfortable, and the employees were fantastic.
