“Doesn't Matter if You Reserve!”

Hotel is usually nice and friendly. I made reservations and had to prepay due to it being New Years Eve. I booked a King Suite and it was not available. I was downgraded to a 2 queen room. Although the front desk tried to help me, they could not. I was extremely aggravated that I was already pre-charged and unable to change hotels due to the funds being on both hold and already charged. Response from the Manager was rude and unacceptable. Basically sorry we dont have what we already charged you for but we can adjust your rate. He was extremely rude! I will not be choosing this hotel again simply due to his RUDENESS- I understand New Year's Eve is a peak time, but dont charge my card for something you dont have! I called to see if I could check in early and they told me that checkin was at 3. I arrived at three and there were others who had already checked in and the King Suite I had booked and paid for was no longer available!! Manager did nothing about making it right other than downgrading to a queen room and telling me he adjusted my rate! I would hope so since the room was not a suite!
