“Loud and Restless”

We took a family trip and booked three rooms at the Ramada Limited & Suites in Louisville. Our primary complaint was that there were several very loud and profane guests in the hotel and nothing was done by the hotel to stop the behavior. These guests were walking up and down the halls at 4am yelling at each other and smoking (non-smoking hotel). We called the desk and were told that a call would be made to their room, but that there would not be a manager on duty to 'handle' the situation till 9am. Well, as luck would have it, they checked into the room next to ours... and continued yelling/swearing and using vulgar language until 6:30am. Despite 3 calls to the front desk to complain about the situation, nothing was done to solve the situation. We did not sleep and I am extremely angered that my 2 year-old daughter had to be woken up by vulgar language in the middle of the night.I realize that our problems were due to other guests, not the hotel directly. However, I believe that hotel management should be present at all times and be ready to take the necessary action to provide their guests with the best possible experience. Overall, I believe hotels exist to provide a place for comfort and sleep when away from home, this one did neither, so I will never be staying there again.
