It's important for us to get feedback from our guest so we can follow what we're doing right and also what we can do to make our guest's satisfaction even better. I'm glad to read that you had the chance to take a dip while staying with us. Our hotel is the only property in town with the relaxing amenity of an indoor pool and hot-tub and it's wonderful to have access to when there's a foot of snow outside or during a dreary rainy day. Don, our weekend frontdesk clerk informed me of your room not having a fridge during your stay. I'd first like to apologize for this inconvenience but also would like to let you know that we are in the process of replacing all of our existing refrigerators with new GE units and have not quite finished installing them all. We are constantly upgrading our hotel and services and hope to see you again during your next trip through Shelbyville! « hide

I am very sorry to discover that your stay was less than perfect and will use this issue as a tool to better train our staff. It's difficult to control the behavior of our guests but we will make better efforts to separate large groups from the rest of property. Thank you for your review of our Ramada during your recent stay in Shelbyville. I'm very sorry that your experience was less than perfect and hope to use the issues you listed as a guide to help better train our staff. It is a best practice for us to be able to check guest in early when ever possible. Our hotel was 100% booked the weekend of your stay and the staff was having difficulty cleaning rooms fast enough to accommodate early arrivals. The tile in your particular room bathroom was actually repaired with new grout. It may have appeared like mud because the color was not matched up exactly. Rest assured, we clean 100% of our guest rooms with great care and detail. We hope you will stay with us again during your next trip through Kentucky and let us change you negative experience to an outstanding one. « hide

The ramps on our exit are currently going through a complete reconstruction but we're only a few weeks away from having even easier access to this Ramada and the rest of the city.
