“my stay at nashville.”

i reserved a night for my 1 night vacation in nashville and it was a lot of fun. but when i had car trouble and couldn't get there that night i called them twice to let them know i couldnt make it and the desk agent seemed like he could care less that i had car trouble and did nothing to see that i was accomodated. the cancellation deadline was at 6 pm and my car broke down at 7 pm. i couldnt even have been able to cancel my res. since i work in hotels i know when a person cant get there because of car trouble or airline delays or the weather doesnt permit arrival then the right thing to do is try and change the stay . i have done it many times myself when called at the front desk of the best western i worked at. so ihope that the hotel will see about changing there policies so a person doesnt have to spend more money after paying to have a car repaired . i also had to pay for a very low quality hotel to spend the night in kentucky. although when i arrived the front desk did get the manager to comp me a room so i could stay so thank you to management for finally helping me out.
