“I do not recommend this hotel.”

Every time I called to make or change the reservation they seemed to be having computer problems. I did not receive a confirmation email because my name was spelled incorrectly even though I spelled it out twice. I made a reservation for a group and made final changes the week prior putting other family names on the bills and indicating all rooms would remain on my credit card. When families checked in the re required to switch to their credit card. When I checked in I questioned this and a front desk staff member rudely told me I should have faxed something in to the hotel indicating such. At no time was I told this in the five phone conversations I had with hotel staff. Several hotel staff were ineffective at giving adequate directions to avoid stairs for hotel guests in our party using wheelchairs. Breakfast was sub par and over priced. There were several items in the room and many throughout the hotel that were broken or breaking. At some point my laptop appears to have been dropped while it was left in my room and the screen is now broken. The manager was polite and helpful.
