“I've slept better in Iraq and Afghanistan”

  , Muskegon
I have served in Iraq and Afghanistan, where I've been exposed to explosions that were quitter than the room I slept in in your hotel. Let us first start by the random dried blood splatter on the wall next to the hanger rack. Could someone spring for a bit of cleaning solution and maybe ten minutes to wash that off the walls? Then there is the whole "it's a party hotel" thing. I called the front desk 5 times on a week night to inquire as to what it would take to shut the people next door to me up for the evening. Finally (at 0445 in the morning) someone from your hotel came and kicked them out, putting drunk drivers onto the streets of Louisville. When you night manager said that I would be comp'ed the night, he must have been kidding as you charged me for both nights that I stayed there. Let's go onward to the hotel maids that didn't quite understand what "Privacy Please" meant on the door hanger, even after opening the door until it was stopped by the door stop they kept trying to get in. Maybe they misunderstood me when I clearly said, "No thank you, I'm still here. I don't need anything, thanks" three times in english, so I said it twice in spanish, to no avail. I would rather sleep wrapped in my poncho liner underneath a bridge in the west side of Louisville than stay at your hotel again. Absolutely terrible.
