“Mixed feelings”

The hotel lobby and common areas were in decent condition overall. The problem was that we had to move rooms twice. The first room we stayed in had no hot water. We were told that the problem was in the wall and it couldn't be fixed until they made a hole in the wall. The 2nd room had hot water but the heater unit made a loud clicking noise constantly. It sounded like an alarm clock ticking. The 3rd room was fine. We also used the banquet facilities for our trip - they ran out of food about 3/4 of the way through the line and we had to wait about 10 minutes for new food to be brought up. The sound system in the room was so bad that we couldn't understand anything that was being said. The restaurant downstairs was good and the wait and kitchen staff went out of their way to be sure we had food in a timely manner as we were on a schedule. TV channels were very minimal - not many options. Rooms were quiet - we were there with a large group of young people and we rarely heard them - the walls and ceiling seemed to be well insulated form the noise.
