“bathrooms need to be upgraded”

  , Halifax
this location is convenient off the 401 and the hotel quality is average. service is friendly and the hotel appears to be well run. nice dining room however the choice of continental and Hot Breakfast is confusing. i think it would be better to go one way or the other and personally i think offering only the continental would be the way to go providing you make the continental really good. i dont like the bathrooms as they are super old and not clean. rust on door frames and dirty grout. bath taps are from the 1950s and are really confusing to turn on and off. risk of scalding if you dont remeber how they turned on. Please rip evrything out of the bathrooms and replace with new. canadian Tire did not sell attractive taps in the 1950s and there is no heritage value here..
