“Our Get Away Weekend”

  , Nashville
One day a year Madison, Indiana has a customer appreciation day of sorts, where many of the shops stay open late and have refreshments. It is usually the last weekend of February and since our anniversary is around that time, we have gone there several times to celebrate. Madison is a great town if you like antiques and old buildings, as they have done a great job with their main street program, restoring the old buildings. Several antique shops and many unique shops along main street make it a fun shopping experience. The weather was perfect the day we were there, the event having been moved from February to April this year. We stayed in a Ramada in Sellersburg, about 30 minutes from Madison. It was clean, a spacious room, and very friendly staff. I would recommend staying there to anyone looking for a very nice motel.
