“One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at”

  , Blue Springs
Everywhere we turned something was either broken, cracked, rusted, unpainted, or smelled horribly of smoke. Found a long black hair in the shower. The carpet in our roomed wreaked of cigarette smoke. At one point my wife spilled a little water so I took a towel to soak it up and the white towel ended up filthy black and smelled like smoke. The hot tub was broke, and the pool was cold and had a funny green tint to it. The equipment in the fitness room was rusting and one piece didn't work. I fixed the TV in the fitness room (picture quality was still bad)but at least its working now. The TV in our room was the old style CRT with a poor reception, but it was the horrible smell of the room that caused us to cut our stay short and change hotels. The only thing i can say positive was the young lady at the front desk in the evenings was helpful and friendly. In the end the cheap cost was not nearly enough to overcome the horrible conditions of the hotel.
