“The worst in my life”

Hard to believe that it was as bad as it was. I have traveled the world and stayed in third world countries with a much better experience. Where was the General Manager? I am sure you have already heard this from anyone staying there that night. And I mean almost everyone. Never been at a hotel where people stayed in the entrance just to see what would happen next? I feel sorry for the two college kids working the desk Saturday night. I heard it was worse Friday night. Why they should have been put in that position is incredible. It was a total lack of any management responsibility. If you keep that General Manager then you are fools! Anyone that had that many problems should have taken responsibility and been there. I have never in my life seen this before and I am 55.I had a reservation for a two room suite. I checked in and as we are checking in two rooms came down since their keys did not work and another no TV and two more no Phone? So we go to our room and open the door and there is a couch in the doorway? The room smells, the bathroom is dirty, and the room has 2 double beds? What happen to the two room suite? On top of that no sheets on the bed and no pillows they were all stacked on the floor in the corner? So of course we went down to get this straightened out. I was told there was nothing they could do? Nothing? Where is the general manager? Not there? As I stood there with the desk help starring hopelessly into his computer screen, no less than 12 more rooms came down with either key problems, phone problems(one didn't have a phone in the room), No TV (the one guy asked for help the day before), no Hot water, 4 burned out light bulbs? The girl was nice enough to hand the guest 4 light bulbs to put in by themselves. What a joke!Well they said they could clean the room that was about it. It would be about an hour wait. I said do you have anyone that is not checked in yet? How about you give me that room and you clean the other one before they check in. It only took another 20 minutes of my persistence before he agreed. Still this is not the type of room I reserved? I finally got a room with 2 double beds after 45 minutes at the desk. After about hour in the room there was someone trying to get into the room? They had checked someone else into the room.Of course the elevator was not working in the front of the building. I guess I got my exercise carry luggage up and down. Of course the next morning there was no hot water, nice cold showe
