Ramada Galena Hotel and Day Spa

We tried so hard to satisfy this guest I actually expected a positive review. She didn't mention that when adjoining rooms were not available we offered an upgrade to a suite at the standard room price. Since the guest declined the suite, we offered her two rooms directly across the hall from each other at a discounted rate which she accepted. At check out she asked Deb,(the clerk she mentioned), for the room to be comped. Deb contacted me and when asked why she wanted a comp she said it was because of the air conditioner. I explained the controls on some AC units are sensitive to the cool night air (temps were in the 50's and low 60's). Because she was still unhappy with all we had done I approved the comp. She said she was happy with that and said thanks. She didn't mention anything about problems with the room but I can assure all that we do not use outdoor patio furniture in any of our rooms and the toilet seat was not broken in this room. The bedding comment is particularly perplexing since we just replaced all our linen. Also, had we known another guest was disturbing them we would have taken steps to stop any intrusive noise issues. It was our intention with this guest, as with all our guests, to make their stay as pleasant as possible. « hide
