“Worst ever. Don't stay here.”

I thought to myself "ok it's cheap. But how bad can it be? It's a Ramada." Well now I know. Never again. Rooms were DIRTY. And I mean D-I-R-T-Y. Upon first sight I realized it was not up to our standards, but after 8 hours in the car my 4 children were exhausted and I thought it would be fine for just a night. Every one took showers and washed up, but just crossing the short distance from the bathroom to the bed all the bottoms of the kids' feet were BLACK and needed to be wiped down before going to bed. The "breakfast" consisted of stale fruit loops and pancake batter that looked like it had been sitting for days. The milk was sitting in a pitcher on the counter without refrigeration and the ice that was supposed to be keeping it cold had all melted. Needless to say after staying in a room that was supposed to include breakfast we went without until we made it to a local coffee shop. The family and I were looking for an adventure this trip and we certainly got it. Although we made the best of it and are laughing about it now we've learned our lesson. No more Ramada.
