“cool hotel, nice staff, great restaurant, noisy”

  , Park City
This hotel was in a very cool old building with a working elevator from 1913. Nice ambiance. A rooftop terrace was great to get a view of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and internet access was easy and fast. The attached restaurant (Brians) had very good comfort food with huge portions (too big actually). The only problem I had with my room was the noise coming from the street. The window was old style with a window mount air conditioning unit. When the ac was off, the noise from the street was quite loud. Luckily when the ac was on it helped to significantly drown out the noise. The other thing that was a bit annoying is that the room light would go off if you were not moving around. This was to save energy in case you left it on when leaving the room. But it would be good if they had a means to over ride that. I would stay at this hotel again but would ask for a room that was lower and at the side of the building near another building so it could help block the noise.
