“Housekeeping Unprofessional”

  , Saint Marys
I went black Friday shopping and decided to sleep in. Usually around 930 housekeeping starts knocking on the doors. I know this because I love this hotel before the changes. Anyway, I woke up around 10 and went to get breakfast and my husband put the do not disturb sign on the door. It was not on the door around 11:15 for sure. When I returned at 2:02 p.m. I called because the room was not clean and I was told that they are not done and will get to my room. When I return at 10:30 that night I was told housekeeping told them that the sign was on the door. Check out is not until 11:00 and they had not finished at 2:00 cleaning rooms and knew about it and still refused to clean the room. I would have been happy with clean towels and trash removed and unmade beds. However they did nothing even though they knew about it. I hear the hotel is a ghost town now. I can see why. I have been using this hotel only for 5 years and now I am so sad. The breakfast was not good, there were no one there to serve us, we had paper plates, and no choices.
