“Alright, at best”

We stayed at this hotel because we were doing the Color me Rad 5K in the morning and it was only 1 mile from the Hotel. Check in was quick and easy. The lobby was in bad shape. I guess they were/are doing some remodeling. Boy do they need it. It is very dated!One of the elevators was broken, the one that did work was dingy and very slow.The hall ways and doors to the rooms were also very dated. Our toilet kept running on it's own and you had to hold the handle down all the way to make sure it flushed.The bed was comfortable and the AC in the room worked well.In the morning we were planning on meeting down stairs for their continental breakfast which started at 7. At 7:10 we went into the restaurant and nothing was set up yet. The lights weren't on, the tables weren't set, the food wasn't out- NOTHING.We advised the front desk and the guy working behind the desk replied "I know he's working on it' Then he went through some back door which I assume was to the restaurant to check and he never came back.We eventually went back up to the room and as we were getting in the slow and only working elevator, the same guy that disappeared emerged and said "Did you go in?"How would we know to go in, if you never came to tell us it was ready? We went to the race, came back, took showers and went home. There is a Comfort Suites right next door. I'll be staying there next year.
