“The 70's called and want their furniture back”

  , Mauldin
When I booked, I wanted to be relatively close to where I had meetings and this was the only hotel that had rooms all nights that I was staying that weren't more than $300 per night. I should have taken that as a sign... This motel is gross. The carpets look to be from the 70's with all sorts of weird stains. Same with the furniture. The television was one of those ancient things that had to warm up when you turned it on. The walls are gross. The bathroom is gross. Everything about this place is gross, and that's after the rooms are cleaned every day. The front desk staff wear street clothes. On checkout, I had to wait 10 minutes even though I was the only person in the lobby because the worker was just standing and staring at the wall, ignoring me.I don't know how this place still exists. If it was in better shape, it would belong in a museum dedicated to garbage from the 70s. The only thing that could improve it is to demolish it. You're better off sleeping in your rental car.
