“Overall I was disappointed in the quality of this hotel...”

Overall I was disappointed in the quality of this hotel, even given it's age. It is obviously an older facility, but the daily upkeep and maintenance leaves much to be desired. Let's start with the rooms. The presentation is odd, with antiquated T.V.'s in a huge amour, and a small fridge just sitting next to it, with a large external electrical box. When you open the drapes, the windows look like a blind drunk sealed them. The black silicone is everywhere. My roomie and I actually had about a twenty minute conversation discussing the methods and the maintenance supervisors check off of who ever did the work. The lamp plugs didn't work and the wifi was a complete joke. What's more comical that the speed is comparable to dial-up or that it's advertised and accentuated as a great feature? The hallways were musty no matter what time of day I ventured through. The elevator were recently tiled, but the surrounding tile patterns were a glass tile, which didn't match at all. It actually seemed cheesy and tasteless. The restaurant/bar was ok to have a drink, but the whole decor was outdated. The buffets in the restaurant area were humorous, because someone had obviously taken cabinets and put them on casters. The only thing is they forgot to consider weight load distribution because it bowed in the middle.I could go on and on, but in reality it's just a waste of time. I made the mistake of booking the Ramada because I waited to long to reserve the Hyatt. Even if I think you're hotel is below its potential (which it is). The comparisons will be unfair because I have a different criteria for what I consider to be a quality hotel.
