“Stay at Ramada Inn Groton, CT”

  , Dalton
My husband and I were very displeased with our room at the Ramada Inn in Groton, CT. We've stayed at many hotels including Ramada Inn's and found this particular one to fall way below our standards. The door leading into the room was filthy and there were stains on the bed linens. The sheets didn't come up high enough to cover our shoulders and the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom gave an overall unsanitary feel due to stains on the ceiling and a missing cover on the overhead light. The shower was a mere trickle and the room arrangement was odd with the sink located in the room, not in the bath. The air conditioner was very loud when it cycled on and off and kept us awake most of the night.Up to the point of checking in to the Ramada Inn, our trip to Mystic, CT had been wonderful, but the creepiness of the room really put a damper on our whole trip. We come to Mystic yearly to attend the Wooden Boat Show. However, we will most likely shy away from staying at another Ramada Inn due to the huge disappointment we had in our stay in Groton.
