“Scary Place with Unprofessional People”

  , Pueblo
I stopped here because I needed new tires on my car after a very long road trip. I had to special order my tires and needed a place to rest while doing so. Walked in and was greeted by a very nice woman in the beginning. Got the room and was sent, with myself (female) and my two young nieces to the back of this very old, very run down property. We literally were as far back as you could go, next to the 18 wheelers and a grassy field. Having just driven 12 hours and almost getting killed by bad tires we were really in no mood to traipse back and forth; we decided to make do. We first had to beat the door in (it looked like someone had tried to crowbar it open and they just left it that way). The room smelled like homelessness and depression. It was dark and grungy. But, again, we were falling down exhausted. A few hours into much needed sleep the next door neighbors decided to have a group powwow complete with Budweiser and lewd jokes. We called the front desk and they quieted down. As we were leaving our neighbors decided to cuss us (me AND my young nieces) because we had the audacity to want to sleep in a hotel room while they were partying. Oh, sorry. Went to the front desk and was greeted by what I can only guess was a reformed gang member with a crappy attitude to match. He was actually COVERED in tattoos and even had matching piercings. How professional. He was rude and dismissive. Bottom line: If you enjoy feeling unsafe, can hear anything anyone says through paper thin walls and unsafe doors, then by all means, stay at this hovel.
