“Great hotel, just don't plan to use the pool.”

  , Chicago
We have stayed at this Ramada several times... The staff is always pleasant and helpful. We recommend the hotel's breakfast, as it is very yummy and there is something for everyone (even the pickiest 4 year-olds!). The rooms are kept nice and for the price, they are great. It does seem they have been working on upgrading the rooms.. the completed rooms are great and imagine they will all be to the same standard soon. The pool, however, is horrible. The first 4-5 times we stayed there, the pool was shut down for repairs, even though we would call ahead to check that the pool would be open. This last time the pool was open, but there was NO WAY anybody could/should have gone for a swim in it. There was an odd white substance floating on the surface, we wouldn't count how many bugs were in the bottom of the pool, somehow there were leaves everywhere in and around the pool, even though it is covered by a glass dome, which made the murky look of the water no surprise.
