“Not what I expected from Ramada”

Actually should have titled it ..."Ramada, no longer." The image I had of Ramada Inn Hotels, and Suites Is no longer, sorry to say. This stay went terrible! Guess I expected a little more from the Ramada Inn corporation. Upon checking in no one was behind the desk upon arrival. in a bit we were greeted very well, and proceeded to our room. When we got there, at the door, was a bucket, toilet brush, and a dirty sponge at the entrance. When we got in we just wanted to watch some TV. Well the remote doesn't work right. I return to the desk with the remote and get new batteries, then return to the room. Again,the remote doesn't work. I then attempt to call the front desk,....the room phone doen't work.I return ro the front desk. The young gentleman behind the desk then reprograms the remote, and supplies me with an additional remote, The additional one I was instructed, was to be retuned to the desk if not needed.Also the phone cords often shake loose and to check that. The "sponge" matter was discussed, and Ignored. Still there when we left. I then return to the front desk for the third time remote.. Seeing any customer service problems here? The amount of money we spent for a one "couples night", guess I expected a little more from a corporation of your status. Hope this summary helps. Only could grade on the breakfast buffet. The female employee operating the omelet station was very cheery , sorry, however the scrambled eggs were very flavorless. - Mark Gibson
