Yes, Durango prices sure go up in May. We keep our prices moderate in comparison to our competitors, but the popularity of our area in summer can be a surprise to first-time visitors. And yes, the food & drink at the Durango Brewery next door can be just the thing after a busy day. I will definitely work on your suggestion about expanding our breakfast offerings. I am glad your stay overall was comfortable. Our research indicates the building was constructed in the early 1970s during the first Durango tourist boom, making it 40 years old, but your point is well taken. Unfortunately the bathrooms cannot be expanded without taking away from the spaciousness of our guest rooms, something many of our guests really love.
