Well we got to the hotel and they allowed us to check in early. The lady at the desk was very friendly and told us how to get to our room and which way would be the best for parking. We went to check out the room and the door was open when we got there, there was a 2" layer of dust on the ceiling fan, the bathroom toilet was dirty, there were some brown marks on the pillows and blankets, there was mold by the window, the fridge was unplugged and very small, there was no microwave (which would have been nice and very convenient), the carpet was dirty and could see things laying on the floor, and the window had no screen! After we checked out the hotel we went to see what Denver had to offer. We thought when we came back we could have a great rest with our busy day, but obviously we were wrong. They had a party that started at 8:00 (we were told there was going to be a little music) and we fell asleep about 10:00pm and awoke to someone being slammed into our door at 12:15am! Yes, I opened the door and the party that was to have quiet music and social interactions was fist fighting outside of our room!!!!! I know there were many older people staying in the hotel that same night and was very upset to think they were also dealing with the same problems. We talked to a lady and they had to be up around 5:00am to travel 6+ hours! I thought this was very rude and when we went to talk to someone about it they almost laughed and said that is how it is every time, but then she said, they pay us quite nicely to stay... Well first off I paid just like the other people that were on the floor and was not very happy with our treatment. After that HUGE ordeal, we called the front desk at 9:00am and asked if they could get us a shuttle at 5:15pm (Note: they only told us we needed a one hour notice). We got to the lobby at 5:00 and guess what they told us it would be ready... We went to the event and were told we would be picked up at 9:15 and lets just say no one showed up and we ended up walking back to the hotel at 10:00!!!! This hotel was a nightmare! The people working were nice but services were not great! « less
