“Probably wouldn't return.”

I had originally book at the Knights Inn next door because it looked great on the website. However, upon arrival, it looked dingy and run down. You have to check in at the Ramada and upon check-in the front desk associate told me I could 'upgrade' to stay at the Ramada for an additional $10/night. As the Knights looked like it was about to crumble to the ground, I accepted. The Ramada was nice though it was strange that they never had lights on in the lobby hallway. I assumed this was to conserve energy but it made for a less-than-inviting atmosphere. The room was nice and mostly clean except for some other guest's toothbrush that was on the ledge of the shower and where the top part of the shower walls met the bathtub there was a large hole that was moldy. The hairdryer in my room didn't work and I called down to the front dest at 7am to get a new one. I was informed that housekeeping locks them up at night and that the supervisor who I was told should be there at 7 but "was always late" would have to open it. They never addressed the issue despite my calling several times and also asking at the desk for a new hair dryer. I got the feeling they pretty much ignored my request as soon as they were finished speaking to me.Overall it was an okay experience but I would probably not return to this hotel.
