“Good location - Needs some work - Rm 100”

  , Aurora
The room was decent except for a huge and very obvious water leak in the ceiling. We were only staying to sleep so we didn't try for another room. The leak was apparently still dripping onto the floor of the bathroom, which we didn't notice until the middle of the night. I tried to report this to the staff as we were checking out but she was too busy on the phone to acknowledge and there was nobody else there to help. This hotel is in a pretty poor overall state of repair. The main lobby needs repairs and fixing up. The room was overall pretty good but there was a lot of wear around the door and bathroom plus the ceiling leak was pretty bad. I actually stayed in the Knights Inn section a couple of years ago and noticed that this condition hasn't improved since then. The staff was pretty nice except for the issue on the phone checking out. This is becoming a 2-3 star location and not priced appropriately.
