“Nice but starting to fall apart”

Honestly, the General Manager at this hotel needs to do a much better job. The hotel is a very nice property; however, there are signs of failure everywhere. Outside, the sidewalk is littered with cigarette butts and could use a pressure wash - especially near "door 4" which is the recommended entrance at the back of the hotel to access the elevators. The elevators are scuffed up, have water stained, cracked, and damaged lighting panels. Furniture near the elevators at each floor looks like it's from the 70s or 80s - in a bad way. It was heavily worn from use. The marble table on the 5th floor near the elevators was cracked as though it had been pushed over at one point. There was a lack of electric outlets to plug in phones/computers around the bed. One of the lights on the nightstand in my room had an obviously broken switch. The toilet had a steady leak in the tank that caused it to run all night. The lobby and fountain area has tremendous potential for events - but it looked so under utilized and lonely. That said, the staff was super friendly and the room was comfy and clean. The location was awesome, lots of places to eat nearby and a lovely grassy park-like area near the parking. This hotel would be so much better if the staff just paid attention to the little details and dealt with some of the obvious maintenance issues.
