“Worst Night's Sleep I've Had In Years”

  , Littleton
We live in Denver. I took my wife up to the mountains for a weeknight getaway. The price was fair, the location is great, the room was CLEAN, but the walls were paper thin! We could hear the people on either side of our room until the wee hours of the morning, and then the folks above us woke up early and were making loads of noise. I'm not blaming the other guests, it is just tough to sleep when you can hear every last word and footstep above and around you.The beds weren't all that comfortable, and the pillows were like triple thickness, so I couldn't ever get cozy.Lastly, the shower head was about 5'5" off the floor of the tub, so myself, at over 6' tall, and my wife at 5'7" both had to squat to get our hair wet. ANNOYING.I'm sure if you ski hard all day and then drink hard all night it wouldn't matter, but if you are heading to Summit County looking for some peace and quiet, find another place to stay.
