“Our worst motel stay”

This is one of our worst motel stay EVER ! My husband and I were in room 102 and next to us, Room 101, had decided to have their biggest all night party ever. Women were giggling without interruption, men were talking so loud, you could not hear yourself think. I knocked on their door and they acknowledged that they heard us knock. The man said: They knocked ! At about 2 a.m. I went to the desk and no one was there. I called on the phone in case the staff was resting behind the wall. I rang the phone 20/25 rings. Nothing. No one was there to help out with that awful noise. Eventually some of the clients who were obviously occupying room 101, left. They left behind one woman who never stopped giggling and the loud mouth man until close to 3 a.m. We were to leave the next day for a 9 hour drive back home (from the meetings for which we had come). We were so tired and sleepy that we were unable to stay awake for all 9 hours back home, which we usually did without any trouble. We had to stop mid-way and take a motel room to sleep since we had not been able to do so at the Ramada. The excuse given by the manager is that they are in the center of town and that the noise is constant. Not true. We have stayed at the Ramada three times before and never had that experience. Something was amiss. Room 101 was noisy from many more than 2 people occupying this one room. If there is a party going on from 11 p.m. until morning, the staff should have been there to correct these unruly clients. Paying more than $90. for that is not correct, not right, not ethical, not acceptable. We should have been reimbursed for that one night. The previous night was fine. So we should pay for that, but certainly not for a sleepless night with no staff to rectify the situation.
